Reading Literature Standard 1 (Key Ideas & Details)

Kindergarten 
With prompting and support, ask and answer questions about key details in a text.


Drama
  • Read and discuss scripts for short plays or excerpts of plays.
  • Use pantomime to tell a familiar story.
  • Adapt a short story into a play.
  • Watch a theatrical production and discuss the dialogue or story line.
Music
  • Learn a short song by rote and explore the lyrics. What do they mean? What happened?
